Two men were shot — one fatally — in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Saturday.

Latrell McMahon, 18, and a 19-year-old man were in the first block of South Springfield about 1:30 a.m. when they were shot, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

McMahon was shot in the abdomen and pronounced dead at the scene at 1:56 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the 1800 block of South Fairfield.

The other man was shot in the right leg and listed in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
