A man was shot in the Kenwood neighborhood early Sunday on the South Side.

The 37-year-old had parked his car about 2:15 a.m. in the 900 block of East 45th Street when two males approached and told him he was being robbed, according to Chicago Police.

The man ran and was shot in the right leg, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
