A man was fatally struck by a train Sunday evening near the Kedzie station in the West Side East Garfield Park neighborhood.

Keith Graham, 56, was struck by an inbound train at Harrison Street and Homan Avenue about 6:30 p.m., according to CTA spokeswoman Tammy Chase, Fire Media Affairs and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Graham, of the 200 block of East 135th Place, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:07 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.

An autopsy Monday found he died of multiple blunt force injuries from being struck by the train and his death was ruled an accident, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Normal Blue Line service was restored about 8:30 p.m.
