Where to watch: Iowa-Stanford in the Rose Bowl

There’s good news, and there’s bad news.

The bad news is that the end of the college football season is drawing near. The good news, for members of the Stanford and Iowa faithful, is those two teams get to square off against each other in “The Grandaddy of Them All,” better known as the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.

This is the first time since 1991 where Iowa will play in the historic game. Stanford has been a regular fixture in the bowl as of late; this will be their third appearance in the last four years.

While most fans won’t be able to attend the game due to the meteoric cost of tickets and travel, supporters of either team in the Chicago area have plenty of options in choosing a local watering hole filled with those with a similar allegiance to either Iowa or Stanford.
