Bank robbed in Dunning

Two males robbed a Plaza Bank branch Monday afternoon in the Dunning neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 3:55 p.m., the males walked in the bank at 3555 N. Harlem Ave., showed a weapon and demanded money from the teller, police said.

The robbers then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

One robber is described as a black male standing about 6-feet, with a medium build wearing all black clothing, according to the FBI. The other black male is also about 6-feet, with a thin build.
