From MLB.com:

Williams becomes the first Smokies hurler to earn Pitcher of the Week honors since righty Dan-Eun Rhee was recognized for his efforts between June 23-30, 2014, while Corey Black (April 21-28) also received the honor earlier that season.

Williams is 12-3 with a 1.98 ERA and 89 strikeouts through 20 minor league starts this season.
