SHARE Two people robbed Friday in Pilsen

Police are warning about a man stealing electronics from people on the street in the Pilsen neighborhood.

Both of the two recent robberies happened early Friday, one in the 1800 block of South Laflin and another in the 1600 block of South Ashland, Area Central detectives said in a community alert.

In both robberies, a man wearing a green or olive-colored heavy coat approached people on the street and took their cellphone or laptop, police said.
