1985 Bears players talk about Steve Fuller filling in for Jim McMahon

Every week of the 2015 Chicago Bears season, Chicago Sun-Times Sports will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1985 Bears by speaking with players from the team including Jimbo Covert, Dan Hampton, Dennis McKinnon and Otis Wilson.

During the 1985 Bears season, backup quarterback Steve Fuller had to step in for the injured Jim McMahon on multiple occasions. Four players on that team — Covert, McKinnon and Wilson — shared what that meant for their squad.
