A man was shot in the West Side Homan Square neighborhood.

The 33-year-old was standing in an alley about 10 p.m. in the 2400 block of West Taylor when a gunman walked up and shot him in the thigh, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, Alfaro said.
