Bovada: Cubs now 6-1 favorite to win World Series

SHARE Bovada: Cubs now 6-1 favorite to win World Series

The Chicago Cubs are now even better favorites to win the World Series — at least according to the oddsmakers over at Bovada.

At 6-1 favorites to win the World Series, the Cubs are joined atop the list by the San Francisco Giants (also 6-1).

Like the Cubs — who added Jason Heyward, John Lackey and Ben Zobrist this offseason — the Giants made a big splash in free agency by signing starting pitchers Johnny Cueto and Jeff Samardzija.

After making it to the National League Championship Series in 2015, the Cubs are World Series or bust heading into 2016.
