If you missed his gig at this weekend’s Pitchfork music festival, not to worry. Brian Wilson brings his Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary Tour to the Chicago Theatre for a concert on Oct. 1.

Tickets ($38.50-$73.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. July 23 at the theater box office (175 N. State) and online at ticketaster.com

Wilson will be performing the iconic Beach Boys album in its entirety. Released on May 16, 1966, the album spawned such hits as “God Only Knows,” “Sloop John B,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.”
