A man was wounded in a Lawndale neighborhood shooting Monday night on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was standing on a front porch at 9:22 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Hamlin when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the abdomen and arms, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
