Man, 45, shot in Englewood

A man was shot Tuesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 45-year-old was sitting on a front porch at 11:13 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Racine when a male on the sidewalk fired shots, striking the man in the right foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
