A 60-year-old man caught was shot in the left leg Saturday night, apparently by errant gunfire, while driving Saturday night in South Chicago.

The police said the man wasn’t the intended target of the shooting, which happened as he was driving in the 2700 block of East 87th Street around 7:30 p.m.

They said he kept driving to Trinity Hospital, where he was treated.. No one was in custody Saturday night.
