The grandmother of WNBA star Candace Parker has been found after going missing for more than a day from her home in northwest suburban Huntley.

Joan Potter, 82, had last been heard from about 11:15 a.m. Monday, according to a statement from Huntley police.

When she did not arrive at her expected destination, family members went to her Huntley and home and found both her and her vehicle missing, police said.

Parker said in a tweet Tuesday night that her grandmother had been located. She was found at an Applebee’s restaurant in southwest suburban Joliet, police said.
