A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened in the 3300 block of West Augusta at 2:47 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

The 28-year-old man was shot in the back and taken in serious condition to Norwegian American Hospital, police said.
