A 22-year-old man was shot Friday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

About 11:24 p.m., the man was shot four times in the chest and back in the 1200 block of South Lawndale, Chicago Police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

The victim is a documented gang member, police said.

Additional details were not immediately available.
