Metra Electric District trains were delayed during the Monday evening rush due to switching problems near the Millennium station.

Inbound and outbound trains were halted about 5:30 p.m., but were back on the move within 30 minutes, according to Metra.

Most trains were running with delays of between 15 and 45 minutes.
