A man has been charged with cutting another man during a fight Tuesday night near the House of Blues in the River North neighborhood.

Charles Ambrose, 46, faces one misdemeanor count of battery, according to Chicago Police.

Ambrose was in a fight with an 18-year-old man at 9:38 p.m. in the 300 block of North Dearborn when Ambrose pulled out a knife and cut him, police said.

The victim suffered a minor laceration to the forehead and was expected to be treated and released from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

Ambrose, of the South Side Englewood neighborhood, was arrested in the 200 block of North Wells, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court at Branch 29-2 on Nov. 21.
