A man killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night on the block where he lived in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

John Donahue, 53, was driving a motorcycle when it crashed at 9:55 p.m. in the 900 block of West Carmen, according to Chicago Police.

Donahue, who lived on the same block, was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police did not release details of the crash.
