One man was killed and a second was wounded in a West Garfield Park neighborhood drive-by shooting last week.

Just after 5 p.m. on Nov. 20, a 26-year-old man and a 49-year-old man were in the 0-100 block of South Pulaski when a silver sedan drove by and someone inside opened fire and then drove off, according to Chicago Police.

The older man, 49-year-old Maurice Robinson of the West Side Austin neighborhood, was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:28 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The younger man was shot in the leg and was also taken to Stroger, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
