A man was shot in the face Wednesday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.
The 21-year-old was sitting in his vehicle in the 5400 block of West Division at 1:33 p.m. when two males walked up to his vehicle and began shooting, according to Chicago Police.
The victim was shot in the face and taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
