Man, 40, shot in Gage Park

A man was wounded Thursday night in a Gage Park neighborhood shooting.

The 40-year-oldwas standing outside about 8:10 p.m. in the 5300 block of South Talman when someone walked up and fired shots at him, Chicago Police said.

The man was struck in the head and taken to Stroger Hospital, police said. His condition had stabilized.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the chest, and an 18-year-old boy was grazed in the eye and shot in the leg.
The man, 38, saw the thieves inside his car in the 4600 block of South Lake Park about 12:15 a.m. and approached them, police said.
