A man was shot early Wednesday on the Near North Side.

The 20-year-old was walking on the sidewalk at 2:17 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Clark when someone in a black car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the left arm and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
