Dikembe Dixson scored 17 points and grabbed four rebounds and the University of Illinois-Chicago rolled to 76-48 win over Division II Wisconsin Parkside Wednesday night, snapping a four-game skid.

Dixson was 8 of 15 from the floor for the Flames (3-5). Dominique Matthews added 13 points and Tai Odiase had 11 points and seven blocks.

The team averaged 52 percent shooting from the floor compared to 26 percent for Wisconsin Parkside. UIC also had a 43-35 rebounding edge and 12 blocked shots.

The Flames were up 35-25 at intermission and a Dixson dunk capped a 9-4 run to start the second half to stretch it to 44-29 with 15:49 to play. UIC led by double figures the rest of the way.

Espen Fjaerestad led the Rangers with 12 points. Joe Borcia had nine rebounds in addition to his seven points.
