A 16-year-old boy was stabbed Wednesday afternoon in the West Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The boy was outside about 3:10 p.m. in the 3600 block of West 62nd Street when someone walked up and stabbed him, according to Chicago Police.
The boy suffered a stab wound to his leg and was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
