Man shot in West Englewood

A man was wounded in a shooting in West Englewood Friday night.

The 20-year-old heard shots and felt pain about 9:40 p.m. in the 6500 block of South Laflin, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his hand.

His condition was stabilized, police said.
