A 23-year-old man was badly wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon in North Lawndale on the West Side.
He was shot in the lower back by someone in a passing car as he stood in the street in the 1400 block of South Homan just after noon, according to the police, who said a good Samaritan took him to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in serious condition.
