A man was shot and seriously wounded early Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 26-year-old was in a parking lot at 12:51 a.m. in the 11900 block of South Loomis when he got into an argument with another male, who pulled out a handgun and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the left leg and taken in serious condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
