A 15-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Pilsen neighborhood.

He was shot in his legs at 6:36 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Halsted, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition.

Details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
