A man was shot Friday evening in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 26-year-old was shot about 5:15 p.m. in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was struck in one of his feet, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. His condition had stabilized.
