A 25-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 8:20 p.m., the man was in a vehicle in the 6300 block of South Ashland Avenue when a silver SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, striking him in the chest, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and listed in good condition, police said.
