A 30-year-old man was shot in the face and right bicep Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

About 2:35 p.m., the man was in an alley in the 6400 block of South Ellis when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
