A man and woman were found shot to death last week in an apparent murder-suicide in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

Tiara Goodman, 25, and 32-year-old Marcel Davis were found about 10:50 a.m. May 29 in the hallway of an apartment building in the 2900 block of South State in the Dearborn Homes housing project, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Both had been shot in the head and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A gun was also recovered at the scene.

Autopsies ruled Goodman’s death a homicide, and Davis’ death a suicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Goodman lived on the same block as the shooting, and Davis lived on the Near West Side.
