A man was wounded Wednesday night in a Lawndale neighborhood shooting on the West Side.

The 48-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 9:08 p.m. in the 700 block of South Francisco when someone fired shots at him from a silver vehicle, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition with gunshot wounds to the leg and buttocks, police said.
