A man was shot Tuesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
Shortly before 8 p.m., the 27-year-old got into a fight with a 33-year-old man who pulled out a gun and fired shots in the 6100 block of South Ashland, according to Chicago Police.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
The 33-year-old man was taken into custody, police said. Charges were pending Thursday morning.
