Woman shot in South Chicago

A woman was wounded early Saturday in a South Chicago neighborhood shooting on the South Side.

The 41-year-old was sitting outside at 2:01 a.m. in the 8600 block of South Kingston when she heard shots and realized she had been hit in the shoulder, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Trinity Hospital in good condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
