A TCF Bank brach was robbed Sunday morning in the West Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The robbery happened at 9:42a.m. at a branch inside a Jewel Osco grocery store at 87 W. 87th St., according to the FBI.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 black man in his 40s or 50s with a large build and light complexion, according to the FBI. He wore a flannel “trapper”-style hat, black sunglasses and a dark-colored coat.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, according to the FBI.

Another TCF branch was reported robbed about 2o minutes after in the Lake View East neighborhood on the North Side.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
