A man was wounded in a shooting Friday afternoon in the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

The 27-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 4 p.m. in the 700 block of East 67th Street when someone fired shots at him from a white two-door vehicle, according to Chicago Police.

He was struck in the abdomen and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
