A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting late Tuesday in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

At 11:53 p.m., the 26-year-old was standing on the 3800 block of West Adams when someone in a silver sedan fired multiple shots at him, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to the abdomen and left shoulder, police said. His condition was stabilized.

Area North detectives were investigating.
