A 17-year-old mother and her 18-month-old son have been found safe after they were reported missing from unincorporated Des Plaines.

Katherine Lujano and Eric Manriquez were reported missing March 2, when Lujano left a note saying she ran away from home, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

She was located safely with her son, the sheriff’s office announced Saturday.
