A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The boy was walking about 3:50 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Halsted when someone in a passing vehicle shot him in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
