NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Police in Tennessee have arrested Nashville Predators forward Austin Watson on a charge of domestic assault.

Franklin Police Lt. Charles Warner said Watson was arrested Saturday evening. News outlets reported Wednesday that Watson has been released from jail on $4,500 bond and is due in court June 28.

Watson was drafted by the Predators in 2010 at No. 18 and this past season he had a career-high 14 goals.

No further information was immediately available.
