Three Chicago Police officers were being treated for minor smoke inhalation after responding to an apartment fire Wednesday night in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side, according to police and the Chicago Fire Department.

The officers responded to the fire that broke out in an apartment at 10:56 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Pulaski, according to officials.

They were taken by the fire department to hospitals and all were in good condition, fire officials said.

No other injuries were reported.

It was not clear where in the apartment the fire started and the cause was still under investigation.
