A 19-year-old man was killed in a crash Wednesday in south suburban Homewood.

Dominique Wood was involved in a crash about 5:10 p.m. at 183rd Street and Center Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Homewood police said he was driving a red Buick when he stopped at a stop sign on Center. As he drove past the sign, his car was struck by a white Porsche westbound on 183rd, police said.

He was pronounced dead hours later at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, the medical examiner’s office said.

Autopsy results released Thursday found he died of multiple injuries from the collision and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Merrillville, Indiana.
