A burned body was found near a vacant lot in South Deering Tuesday evening.

The body was discovered about 7:25 p.m. in the 9900 block of South Houston Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was identified as 20-year-old Michael Ambrosio by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The cause of death wasn’t immediately known.

No one was in custody and police released no other details.
