A woman died after crashing into a fence Wednesday morning on the Near West Side, according to Chicago police

Claribel Cana-Aviles, 27, crashed while driving a Honda Civic in the 1000 block of West Roosevelt Road around 4:40 a.m., police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

She was brought to the University of Chicago Medical Center and pronounced dead, police said.

Chicago police were investigating the crash.
