The 40-year-old is hospitalized in serious condition after the attack early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened about 3:30 a.m. near Paulina Street, officials said.
A 26-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man and 33-year-old food delivery driver were attacked Tuesday night, police said.
Police are looking for three male thieves who held up liquor stores from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the city’s Northwest Side.
The suspect was found with two handguns with extended magazines, according to a police report. One firearm, discovered as cops tried to render aid, was equipped with a switch that turned it into a machine gun.
Police say the women were shot to death in their home Tuesday. The baby was hospitalized with gunshot wounds. A body, believed to be of the shooter, was found in a nearby park with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The fire, which possibly was started by a child playing with a lighter, erupted about 7:15 a.m. in a multiunit apartment building in the 500 block of West Marquette Road.
