Cardinal Blase Cupich has lashed out at “intimidating tactics” by supporters of the Rev. Michael Pfleger.

The Chicago cardinal blasted the tactics as “offensive and an injustice,” saying they could hamper others seeking to report abuse — and could force the probe to start over.

The woman recently made the allegations in a TikTok video, saying the Rev. Larry Sullivan — then an 18-year-old seminary student —attacked her in an alley outside where she worked. She said she was 17.

The mail-in ballots — counted over Zoom on the unofficial smoker’s holiday of 4/20 — were overwhelmingly in favor of joining Local 881 of the United Food and Commercial Workers, which represents employees in Illinois’ booming pot industry, the union said in a statement.

Guard members, along with troopers from the Illinois State Police, will be deployed to Chicago starting Tuesday to “support the Chicago Police Department as needed,” the governor’s office said.

Ruben Roman has been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, child endangerment and violating probation.

“You have allowed police officers to traumatize us,” Mark Clements, a survivor of police violence, told the crowd.
