Armed robberies reported on Near West Side: police

In one robbery, two men stole a person’s car keys and drove off in their vehicle, police said.

Four burglaries were reported in February 2021 in Little Village. — Two armed robberies were reported in September on the Near West Side.

Two robberies were reported within blocks of each other in September on the Near West Side.

In each incident, two men approached someone on foot and threatened them with a gun before taking their money and car keys, Chicago police said. In one robbery, the men drove off in the victim’s vehicle.

The first robbery happened about 6:50 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 100 block of North Talman Avenue, police said. The second happened about 4 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2400 block of West Lake Street.
