Two robberies were reported within blocks of each other in September on the Near West Side.
In each incident, two men approached someone on foot and threatened them with a gun before taking their money and car keys, Chicago police said. In one robbery, the men drove off in the victim’s vehicle.
The first robbery happened about 6:50 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 100 block of North Talman Avenue, police said. The second happened about 4 p.m. Sept. 25 in the 2400 block of West Lake Street.
